WEDDINGS AT MAPLEDURHAM

The beautiful historic Mapledurham Estate makes the perfect venue for your wedding reception. The Manor House grounds are in the heart of the estate away from the hustle and bustle of town life.  We offer three lawned areas within the grounds for the location of your marquee depending on the number of guests , whether you wish to have the stunning Elizabethan Manor House as a back drop or you may prefer to choose the country park ,which has an unrivalled 300 metres of river bank along the beautiful River Thames, the choice is yours.

We charge a ground rent for the use of the land and provide a water point and waste recycling facility . You are then free to make your own arrangements with regards to choice of marquee company, caterer, facility supplier etc. Although we are a venue only we can provide contact details of some companies who have been involved with weddings at Mapledurham to help you with your organising

There is the ability to arrive to your reception by boat and moor up in our mill pond in view of the unique Mapledurham Watermill     (The Last Commercially Working Watermill On The River Thames) 

Located in the village of Mapledurham is St Margarets Church which is only a short walk from our lawns. Many people have their wedding ceremony  at St Margarets and then take a leisurely stroll along our main drive to their reception.
