The House and Watermill are open on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from Easter Saturday until the end of September and for previously arranged party visits midweek.

Exit at junction 10, (A329M) for Reading, follow into the centre of Reading (through Cemetery junction and continue to follow signs for Caversham/Oxford A4074 (You may also see brown historic signs to Mapledurham House & Water Mill).
After going over the Thames bridge at Caversham turn left at the lights - up the steep hill, and follow the signs to Mapledurham or Oxford.
Travel on this road for approximately 2 miles. As you leave the housing area you will see a golf course on the left and another one on the right beside the Pack Saddle pub. Turn left opposite the Pack Saddle towards Mapledurham Village.
At the old Cross roads (Trench Green) Turn left towards Mapledurham Village follow this road for 1 mile. Take great care on this road!
As you approach the village you will see a post box in the wall and a telephone box. Continue through the village until you get to the end of the road and you have arrived.
